​       IADE decided to take action on the continent of Latin America, it perfectly illustrates the challenges of agricultural development and environmental protection. In addition, we wish to direct our project in the field of agro-ecology and Latin America is an area where  agricultural practices are already in place since many years and still tend to conquer new lands.​



We support agro-ecology as it proposed solutions that seems to respond to the XXI's challenges. Indeed, the current global situation calls out for changes in behavior and consciousness in order to increase the ecosystems resilience to climate change that becomes more and more threatening.
Agro-ecology, combines agronomy with ecology, and integrates values that we want to defend as a basis for sustainable development. Indeed, it promotes a rational management of natural resources, the reduction of the use of non-renewable resource and  the valorisation of biodiversity in order to build a sustainable conduct of agroecosystems. The establishment of agrosystems involves a calculated return to traditional skillsand knowledge that gradually disappear to benefit more productive technologies, more profitable but highly subversive.

• agro-forestry and enhancement of forest products (NTFPs)
• enhancement of biodiversity through reforestation, identification of plant and animal species
• the preservation of traditional and ancestral knowledge and skills
• management of waterefficient irrigation techniques
• medicinal plant cultivation and their integration in a production system
• integrated pest management
